Barona Practice-2/15/09

"Well Jake ( Wipeout's Newest rider, info coming soon) and I went to Barona on saturday. It was extremly muddy. It was Jake's first time on a track. Jake went down when his throttle stuck open, but was ok other than a sore shoulder. I on the other hand went down going into a corner when my front tire slid out, and i got a scrape on my elbow. And then i got the bike stuck in the mud on an off track excursion!! A Rhino had to pull it out!! But we had fun, Jake got to ride his "new" bike, and Got to try out my 450, which he crashed on! Too much power he says...you can never have enough!!!! Looking forward to racing again next sunday!"

Jake Erpelding- 2/16/08

" So what can say about our newest rider? He's got a background racing bmx, and has the drive to win. He is buying a brand new YZ250F!! This weekend will be his first time riding the bike, First time at Perris Raceway, and his first time Riding with Carl. I'm really excited and can't wait to see him on a brand new bike!"

KYLE WINS!!!- 2/22/09

" Wow, what a great weekend. Jake, Carl, Ryan ( Carl's step son) and I had an awesome time on saturday practicing. Jake learned a few things and he loves his new bike ( well the video shows that!). Sunday went even better. Carl started off strong with a 2nd place run in his moto 1, and I matched that with a 2nd place in my moto 1. Carl was on a good run in his moto 2 when his muffler broke off and had to DNF. I on the other hand got a great start in my 2nd moto, passed the leader in the 2nd corner, and led every lap!! A 2-1 got me the overall win in my class!!! I was pumpin my fist and yellin as I came across the line. Hugs all around for everyone of my friends and family. Thanks to all my sponsors, and special thanks to Carl for his help lately ( I didn't do everything he told me, but he helped ALOT) and to my mechanic Colby, who built me an awesome motor and got me great starts!!! Finally, Thanks to my mom, dad, and stepdad Al for helping me pay for everything!!! IM SO HAPPY!!!"

Gearing Up for Glen Helen- 3/17/09

" Well, we sit here with roughly 3 weeks until the beginning of the Vet X Spring Series. Its been up and down lately. Down because 1) Been having bogging/ starting issues with the race bike and 2) comletly destroyed the exhaust system at Glen Helen. But Ryan recently ran his first race and finished 3rd, Carl took a double (2 Class) win at Elisnore, and Jake is getting better and better every time we ride. Plus, we have a new sponsor: Kal - Gard Lubricants ( Through O'Neal) . We are nearly ready to tear it up at Glen Helen."

Glen Helen Report- 4/13/09

" As usual, Wipeout had its ups and downs: Saturday during practice, I crashed pretty hard and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. I suffered a broken collarbone, Level 4 Concussion, and a fractured arm socket. But Ryan and Jake went 1-2 in their class, in which they split the moto wins. Good Job Guys!! I wont be riding for then next 3 months, and will race again in the Fall series. See ya then!!!"

Back to Riding- 6/22/09

" So I've ridden a few times, and im feelin pretty good. My first ride back I was pretty sore. I rode at the James Stewart ride day, and I'm pretty close to my speed at Glen Helen before my crash. I'd Like to thank Dr. Rynning for looking afer my shoulder and making sure i was ready to ride. Lookin foward to gettin a new bike in the next few months, and were all gearing up and training for the Fall series. i have unfinished business!!!"
